Lawrence Hamlin is based in White Plains, New York, specializing in printmaking and drawing. Trained at the San Francisco Art Institute (MFA '83), he was a master printmaker at Crown Point Press for ten years, working with renowned artists including Richard Diebenkorn, Wayne Thiebaud, Alex Katz, Judy Pfaff, and John Cage, among others. 

 

In 1996, he moved to Illinois and opened his own publishing studio, Mad Dog Press, and in 2015 made the move to Utah. In 2018 moved once again to New York.
